Kate Miller

Kate Miller is a vocational homemaker, who’s spent a number of years thinking about what exactly that means.  She recently completed a Master’s degree in Theology and the Arts from Regent College, Vancouver BC.

Melissa Florer-Bixler is a Mennonite pastor, in Raleigh NC, and the author of a compelling new book called "How to Have an Enemy."

Matt Humphrey

Matt is a writer, educator, and Anglican priest. He serves as director of theological education for A Rocha Canada and is community life minister of the Abbey Church in Victoria and the curator of Wild Church Victoria, and he’s a member of the Emmaus Community—a New Monastic community committed to prayer, simplicity and presence. His passion for creation care as Christian practice is infectious and reminds us of the importance of integrating our beliefs in every aspect of everyday life.  

Dr. Leslie Paris

Dr. Leslie Paris is an Associate professor of History, at UBC.  Dr. Paris’ focus is on American social and cultural history, with a particular interest in families.  We first heard her speak at a roundtable on politics and religion, ahead of the most recent American election.  That was the conversation that made us want to talk to her more.  

Emily Logan

Emily Logan is a candidate in the Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance, at UBC.  Her academic work focuses on performance anxiety, and how to overcome it. 

Njamba Koffi

Njamba Koffi is an award winning community leader, an author, poet, public speaker and a musician. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, he has spent much of his life as a refugee. He is currently an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, pursuing a degree in international relations, with a minor in creative writing.  

Andria Irwin

Andria Irwin is the founding pastor of United Online, a ministry of the United Church of Canada that seeks to connect, support and encourage people in Christian faith and practice, online.

Ainsley Carry

Dr. Ainsley Carry is the Vice President of Student Affairs at the University of British Columbia. He has spent most of his professional life working for the well-being of students, and seeking to help young people find and make meaning.
